Tricone Drilling Bits are designed with three rotating cones, each fitted with tungsten carbide blades, that can be used to drill through hard rock formations. These rotary rock bits are used in oil and gas exploration, geothermal drilling, water well drilling, and mining applications. Tricone rock bits are usually made of high grade tungsten carbide and are ideal for drilling through soft, medium, and hard formations. The blades are set at a 90° angle, and are 2.5mm thick. These tricone bits are designed with API Reg thread type, and feature three blades for maximum efficiency.
